This is so utterly beautiful even if I cannot yet access those feelings. Quite sure the me I am currently becoming has never experienced it before, given that me never existed before. And the other self, those memories still live forth.
Thank you for reading and commenting, Jay. I think the poem is an attempt at saying that regardless of how we may try to close ourselves off from the deep emotional experience of love, even love that we feel has disappeared from our lives, it can come again, in its own time, in its own way.
Paul, that’s how I read it. And, yes I believe that too. Just only realized these last days just how deeply separated I have been from who I was once a long long time ago as a child meant to become. And though I wouldn’t use “having lived a lie” what I lived my past almost 50 years wasn’t in any way me. And for now I need to keep these experiences separate so they are not spoiling what I can finally become.

Spontaneous combustion occurs once in a lifetime à true chemical reaction. À spark of emotion that ignites the heart and soul.
If love finds you once, chances are very good that it will find you again, perhaps in a way you don’t even recognize.
