Darn it, a few seconds too late, but I loved being drenched in its beauty!

Love this, Paul. Had to laugh because I wondered if I needed to read it outside. It's a beautiful crisp day here so I'll save your umbrella for another day. Thanks for this.

Thanks for reading, Steve, and for the comments. Save the umbrella for a rainy day!

Paul, I am soaked with wisdom and some mud on shoes. The umbrella protects me from the reign of possibilities that happen when least expected. I think I’ll take a hot shower and the dry my clothes.

Keep the umbrella, Richard. They always come in handy!

Yes, but it never rains in California. But thanks for the sunshade. And your sunny disposition.

Oof I just opened this indoors. How do I counter the bad luck? I guess I have to go outside and start looking for 4-leaf clovers.

Sometimes I would ditch the umbrella to experience and confront the weather in curiousity and defiance. But an umbrella can be cozy at times. Lovely poem Paul

Thanks, Ika - I have a large red umbrella that I often use, but sometimes its a bit unwieldy, especially if there's any wind

I have one too one that has black and red in checkered pattern. It is unwieldy when it's windy so those time I just go out in a rain poncho instead.

Should be subtitled, "read outside"? Been rainy here lately. You're words are helping to keep me dry.

I guess I never knew that it was bad luck to open an umbrella indoors. So here's to another thing to be obsessively compulsive about. Thanks, Paul!

“this poem

is an umbrella

meant

to keep

you dry”

I really like that idea. The protection and power of a poem.
