This is such a gentle, beautiful, hopeful poem. It could be the theme poem of my blog, Shy Guy Meets the Buddha!

Thanks for setting the tone for my day, Paul. 🙏💚

This poem is full of priceless advice for handling difficult situations and getting by in life without being too damaged by them. Are you a Buddhist, Paul? 'Letting go of attachments' is the very cornerstone of their philosophy.

I love poetry, so many wonderful poets ,Robert Burns was/is my favourite Scots Poet/Bard. There was a story I was told I can not remember it all but it was said Robbie Burns did not like to write until a bird of prey dropped a dead Sparrow on his head, he had supposedly brought it back to life and it accompanied him thereafter? I don't know how true it is, was it just my Grandmother's way of getting me to Write ? " if yi dinna rite then the eagle will drop a Sparrow on yer hied "!🤣😂🤣 my Gran used all these threats while laughing. I just love poetry

So beautifully written, Paul. “Gentle surrender is a sacred art. In the process of release, it mends the heart.”

Surrender is often misunderstood and a hard thing for many to do. Thank you, Monica

A blank page that waits to be turned and filled, but can be seen to wait for the right inspiration moment . Love a silent empty space. Thanks.

Working very hard with what you beautifully put into words. It makes my task more hopeful than depressing.
