My pleasure, Paul.
“you are a light
holding me tight
against the dark chill
of the night “ may we all have that someone!
I hope everyone does, Diane—thank you!
The last stanza is killer!
My favorite lines, Stan! Thank you for pointing them out!
"Night Poem" depicts two people taking solace in each other for the light their bodies carry as they venture into night's darkness together.
I missed this fine poem the first time, so I'm glad to read it now. Thanks, Paul.
You’re welcome, Martin, glad you got to read it this time around, and my thanks for your comment!
I wish, Mr. Wittenberger swoon💥It’s difficult for me to not be honest, Lady G
And appreciate your honesty, Lady G. Thank you!
Happy anniversary tender poem
Thank you for the Substack birthday wish! 🌻🌻
This so fresh and sweet:
"Pressing my body
against your own
like the stuffed animal
of your childhood".
Thank you, Portia
This poem flows so smoothly, Paul. A bit slow on my start today, and always a pleasure reading your poems!
Slow or fast, Gary, Thank you for taking the time to read and commenting!
This poem is erotically romantic. “Together we flow into the darkness, where things happen. Only because of the light and never because of darkness.”
Thank you, Jo-Ann!
Beautiful 🤩
Thanks, Simone 😊
Beautifully written, Paul!
Good Tuesday, Rea, and thank you.
